The Mail Runeth...

After a very long and stressful day at the office, I came home to find that my accumulated mail that I had held from last week finally got delivered. Amongst the junk mail were many wonderful Christmas cards (thanks guys!), a couple of bills, a couple of out-of-print CD's I'd ordered, and one wonderful surprise from the very handsome ericdabear.

Worship the White Chocolate Buddha!
Eric ordered the white chocolate Buddha from Chocolate Deities in New York. It's actually incredibly detailed and smells REALLY good. I couldn't wait to call Eric, who was on the road on the long drive from his grandmother's to Atlanta, and thank him for it.

I know that if you are supposed to rub Buddha's tummy for luck and happiness, but I wonder what happens if you lick it.. :)

So, what do you do with it now? Feel guilt by consuming him? Would that bring you bad luck? Chocolate should not be admired for very long. I mean, maybe you're meant to eat it, but only after some rituals. Did it come with instructions? *sigh*

I'd be so torn. It's Buddha, but it's chocolate.
