Wintry Mix

I watched a pretty interesting horror movie tonight called Triangle, involving a "Groundhog Day" idea of cyclic events surrounding a group of boating survivors who get picked up by a ghostly cruise ship. Some scenes were just incredibly creepy, especially when a character discarded an item only to see a pile of the same item, giving a perspective of how many times the characters may have repeated the same event. Even creepier when the discarded item was a person and you see an area full of identical dead bodies. While watching the movie and the new episode of "Project Runway," I started drawing this cartoon. I've always loved Greek mythology and considering the wintry mix coming here tomorrow, drawing my rendition of Boreas, the god of the north wind and bringer of winter, seemed appropriate. Instead of coloring it by Photoshop, I broke out the watercolor markers (followed by a bit of Photoshop blending). The end result isn't perfect, but it's fun to try something a bit different. I've thought of doing some watercolor painting like my mom does. I may get some pointers from her when I head to my hometown next.
Off tomorrow, so up late and will sleep in tomorrow. Yay!
