Weekend Wrap-Up
Nov. 3rd, 2008 07:47 amGood morning, I think. Ugh.. I don't feel like it's an hour later this morning.
Thanks for the compliments on the costume from Friday. The office contest voting continues until tomorrow (how appropriate). In putting the uniform together, I had a conversation I never once thought I'd have with my sister: "Am I a size 14 or 16 skirt?" While it does add to the over-the-top feel of the costume, I think I will pick costumes requiring no wig from now on. And those of you who wanted cookies can pick them up from my house. One at a time please, unless I'm feeling energetic.
I honestly cannot wait for Wednesday to get here. The multiple phone calls from the Ohio Republican Party are driving me crazy. I spoke with three misguided individuals and two robocalls over the weekend. And the fun thing is that I live in KENTUCKY. When I try to explain to them that they are barking up the wrong tree, they continue their attempts at swaying a rooted maple with a box fan.
Last night's dream was an odd one. I was searching for someone's home, a person who said I could stay there when I came to town, but don't remember who. Oddly enough, I remember the address of where I really wanted to go. Does "646 Junebug" mean anything to anyone? On a lark, I tried to reverse address search it in Ohio and Kentucky and found nothing. My mind is a primordial soup of odds and ends I suppose.
Caffeine! Thy sweet elixir of life, where art thou... *yawn*
