The Mash of Salsa-Induced Dreams

I'm not sure what mix of dinner last night (if dinner is to blame) caused this mash up of dreams.

• I had long hair. My hair was so long I could pull it into a ponytail.
  
• I went to a local comic book shop where the guys there gave me grief for using Photoshop to color my cartoons, citing that it wasn't compatible with Mac's. They are so wrong.
  
• People in this strange town where I was staying would luge down the drainage ditches when it rained.
  
• A friend owned an island where people enjoyed swimming and surfing where I could see the sharks in the waves. The people on the beach had their babies swimming in the water knowing this and didn't mind.
  
• A children's music CD that was apparently cursed as the kids on the cover had glowing eyes and could actually talk. I was trying to destroy the CD and its case. The demon kids on the cover were trying to stop me. I finally put them in the fireplace.

Cincinnati Movie Bears -- Sex Drive

The Cincinnati Movie Bears got together last night at the Levee to see Sex Drive.

When a lovable loser chats up a gorgeous girl online using a fake profile, the girl makes him a deal. If he drives his muscle car to Knoxville, she'll go all the way with him. The problem is that the muscle car in question belongs to his hyper-masculine, over-bearing older brother. With the goading of his womanizing best friend, the two guys and their best female friend take the muscle car when the brother is gone and begin a nine-hour drive from Chicago to Knoxville to "see his grandmother" (the alias for meeting the girl). Of course, things do not go as planned and that's as far as I'll go without diving into specifics and spoilers.

The movie was hilarious! I've not laughed so much at a movie in a long while. The critics are calling it "Beavis & Butthead" humor. It may be somewhat true, but I think it was smarter than that in places. Raunchy humor has its place and it was good to see it last night.

After the movie we hit Habeneros, a Chipotle like restaurant and stayed for a while chatting and laughing. I'm sure the staff thought we were crazy.
