Heroes, DVD's, and the Gym
Jun. 2nd, 2008 07:57 pmSaturday, I made my way to the Cincinnati Mens Chorus concert "Heroes." It was a great show, my favorite part being the montage of superhero television/movie theme songs. Nothing like a group of men singing the theme to "Wonder Woman" to lift the spirits. As always, it was fun to see our man Brian (
cincycub) performing.
Sunday was a lazy day. My buddy
aceofspace stopped by to spend the night on his way back from our hometown, so we did some car battery shopping, ate out at Applebee's, and spent some time watching DVD's.
This morning, I called in late so we wouldn't be rushed around at 5 AM for me to get to work. Breakfast at Panera was great and then I decided to take off the rest of the day. I made it to the gym where I would like to thank the beefy bear running on the treadmill across the way from me. Thanks to your huge muscular pecs bouncing with every stride, I was distracted enough from the countdown on my treadmill to finish running that last 1/2 mile with ease... in fact, I think I may have ran a bit more than I intended. :D
