Walking to Borders
May. 28th, 2006 09:32 pmAfter a nap this morning, I got up and decided I needed to do something active. So I got dressed and decided to walk to Borders. According to Yahoo! Maps, it's a 2.6 mile hike one way.
I stopped at Applebee's and had a late lunch (or early dinner). I have to admit that the server at the bar seemed less than impressed to have a rather sweaty guy at the bar. I can't help it, it was hot outside ;) So the food was good, the service could have been better. Oh well.
So I made it to Borders and bought a New Mutants compilation and the latest issue of "The Advocate," which stars LJ's own
bigsabu,
animbear, and
redbeardedblond in the feature story on gay polygamy. Robert posted about it in his journal here. It's a very good article and has a nice picture of three burly bears. :)
After Borders, I made the long hike home. Needless to say that my legs are very sore....
