Another reason to be happy that I no longer live in Kansas City:

How does one "rewrite" the definition of science? Being a scientist myself, I find this decision disturbing and if I were in high school I would take every opportunity to scoff at it in class.

I dread seeing the witch burnings again for causing sticks to burst into flames (we now call them matches)... I swear that looks like what we are heading towards.

It's bad enough that our high school graduates are biased against science as it is, and this isn't going to help any. We'll never keep our technology edge this way. Even the FRENCH are better at separation of church and state than we are, and our country was founded on the idea!
