Another reason to be happy that I no longer live in Kansas City:

How does one "rewrite" the definition of science? Being a scientist myself, I find this decision disturbing and if I were in high school I would take every opportunity to scoff at it in class.

LOL.. sorry, dear, but you're wrong. There are two Kansas City's, one in KS and one in MO. The state line actually divides the greater city. It took a while for that idea to sink in when I lived there.

Not neccessarily, we have no proof Kansas City was not created by a devine force and then luddites divided it into two pieces, one loving God but hating science, the other loving science and therfore able to perfect a scientific method for great BBQ!
