George Perez's Upcoming Work on JSA
Nov. 30th, 2005 07:29 pmI picked up my comic books from the local shop today. On my way out I picked up the Comic Shop News freebie and noticed the cover. The Golden Age Superman fighting the Gentleman Ghost. I took a long look at the artwork below and nearly screamed like an excited school girl. It's the cover of JSA #82 by George Perez.

The inside story about the upcoming issues, beginning in February, is just as good. Paul Levitz will write a six-issue stretch of the comic with George Perez penciling the issues. It definitely reminds me of comics of my youth.
The cover does make me wonder about the end result of DC's current Infinite Crisis storyline. Apparently, JSA #82 will be a story with the Golden Age Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Three characters I thought were forever gone from DC stories. I am very much looking forward to this.
