I scooted out of work early on Sunday and caught a matinee of
Flightplan. Jodie Foster never ceases to amaze me. It's no surprise to me that she's an Oscar winner. She was amazing and the story was very well put together in my opinion. I also noted that Peter Sarsgaard was in the movie too, always nice to see a cute guy on screen. I highly recommend the movie.
Saturday was spent in a funk of sorts. After some shopping therapy for some things I've been meaning to get for the house, I spent the majority of the day cleaning. When I'm in a poor mood, I clean. It's a pattern long established back when I was a kid. I know that my future hubby will likely just tick me off whenever he wants the house cleaned. Needless to say the house is now near spotless.
Today was messing with the yard, mowing, weeding, and cleaning. The yard has been long neglected. Afterward I met up with
nonljeric for a matinee of
Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. It was cute, but I don't see it as a movie I'd buy. Actually, I was surprised that there were not more people in the theater.
Now I'm tired. I'm watching the
Charmed season premiere. Only four more work days to go until life can return to a semblance of normal. And PRIDE NIGHT is coming.. :)
