Meeting Some Traveling Friends!
Jun. 20th, 2005 10:49 amI woke up with an unbelievable amount of energy, not sure what the heck is up with that. I was at the gym by 5 AM, worked out until 6 AM, dressed and at the office by 7:30 AM. I wish I felt like this every morning.
On 411, I got a message from my buddy Daren from Dallas who told me he was swinging through here today on his way to a job interview in Conneticut with another friend Chris. So I called them up and they just happen to be about 20 minutes away on the road, so I met up with them at McDonald's for a late breakfast for them. This was the first time I'd actually met them, even though I've chatted, emailed and talked to them on the phone for over a year now. They are both really cute and very interesting. Daren is going to CT for the interview but he'll get to stay in Dallas. Fingers crossed for him.
After an hour, I needed to get back to work and they needed to get back on the road. As I was walking back into my office, Daren called to thank me for breakfast and I realized that I had my camera in the car the whole time and didn't remember to get a picture of them! Darn! :(
