While at work today, dodging the oddities of management and such, my buddy Tim called to see if I wanted to go see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy tonight. He said the missus was watching the kid, so he was free. Naturally, I went as my plans for heading home this weekend fell through.
We went to the Rave in West Chester, which was the site of this horrible movie experience. With the swarm of teenage brats present, I was fearing a repeat event. The usher at the movie made an announcement that talking was to be taken outside after the movie had started. My guess is that they've had more than a few complaints.
The movie was actually really good, I think they captured Douglas Adams' quirky sense of humor, from what little of his work I've read. I especially liked the guide itself, with it's humorous descriptions of things. I'm sure hardcore Adams' fans will disagree, but I had a good time, which was the most important thing.
