I chatted way too much on Bear411 today. I did manage to get a few loads of laundry done, so it wasn't a total wash (no pun intended). Tonight, I decided to head to the movie theater and catch Constantine at the 10 PM show. I figured there would be fewer teenagers at so late a movie.
After some decent previews, including House of Wax, Sin City, and Batman Begins, the strangely half-filled theater was reasonably quiet and watched Constantine without incident. It's been a while since that happened. Only one idiot brought their six-year old to the flick.
The movie was pretty good. Despite being a comic book geek, I've never read the "Hellblazer" comic, upon which the film is based, so I had no preconceived notions on the story. Comic fans may take issue with it, but overall I think it was very well done.
Afterwards, I decided to stop by Wal-Mart for some grocery shopping. I found the $1 DVD rack again and found a few more I wanted, like The Scarlet Pimpernel and The Three Stooges. In fact they were down to 88 cents. Shopping at midnight is a lot easier than during the day. Now I'm beat, thankfully I don't have to work tomorrow.
