The Hell-Bent Drive Home
Sep. 1st, 2004 06:09 pmI was tired, left work late, and hate traffic. Such is life. Working in Cincinnati, but living in Northern KY was my choice, I live with the trials that come with it.
As I was changing lanes on I-75, some truck decided to the do the same thing at the same time. I noticed this and quickly swerved back into my original lane. The truck then swerved past the one lane directly in front of me, the one going to the exit. He stuck his hand out the window and gave me the flying bird along with some other jestures.
My first instinct was give him the one-finger salute back, but I've been trying to avoid that. So as he drove up the exit ramp and got stuck in a line of traffic, he looked right as me as I passed by, giving me the finger and a mouthed "f*ck you". I smiled and waived back at him as though he was a long lost buddy. In the long run, I know this pissed him off far more than a finger would.
Next time, I'm blowing kisses and doing the Queen Elizabeth wave. >:D
