At last the Weekend!!!
Jul. 18th, 2004 12:14 amSleeping in never felt so good. I got up around noon today and I don't regret it. I went to PF Chang's for hot 'n' sour soup for lunch and ran into Steve, the furry classmate, as I came in from the mall. He's a nice guy and was looking to do something today. I suggested a movie and dinner, he said okay, and I went up to eat in my room.
My sister called to tell me she has a new job, big happy moment for her. She works for my cousin in his vacuum cleaner business. My cousin is a creep, I've been wanting her to switch for a while. She'll be an office worker/receptionist for a well-established CPA, good benefits and salary. Big hooray for her!
Steve and I went to see I, Robot, which I thought was pretty good. I never realized how muscular Will Smith is... wow! The movie was interesting with a lot of action to it. Afterwards we hit a local pub for dinner. Steve told me he was 20 years older than me. I was floored, he looks about 40 and he's in his mid 50's. After much family discussions and what not, we went to Target for shopping and then back to the hotel.
I came downstairs to check the email and ran into a table of classmates, all drinking heavily. Good for them. They all took an interest in my iPod, as it got passed around to each of them. One said he "couldn't find a good song on it". Well, screw you, you drunken idiot! Apparently he found all my 80's music playlists.
I guess I've rambled enough. I'm meeting Billy for brunch tomorrow and then who knows.
