Hump Day (* snicker *)
May. 26th, 2004 07:33 pmToday was good, but tiring. Reading and absorbing information from documents all day is exhausting. Imagine having that "pay attention because this will be on the test" feeling for six to eight hours. Such is my life.
The diet is going well. Eggs, sausage, and bacon for breakfast, an Arby's Turkey and Bacon Wrap for lunch (oh so good!), and two cube steaks with cheese for dinner. It feels so strange to eat everything you've been warned to cut back on. It feels like you're doing something wrong. There are even low carb chocolate chip cookies! At 4 net carbs each, I devoured two of them and I couldn't tell a difference. Also, the Girl Scout Peanut Butter Sandwiches are 4 carbs too, good for me.
I think this will work. My boss is sort of my unofficial support person. He now has someone to talk to about this type of stuff. He's a wealth of info about what to eat.
