Shopping and Sunday
Nov. 16th, 2003 05:44 pmHad a length chatting session on line this morning. I need to cut that out. I started at 7:30 AM and didn't quit until after lunch time. Time just slips away when you're talking, I guess.
I chatted a bit with
decibal who I hadn't talked to in forever. He's been traveling and so have I. So I asked him out to lunch at Chipotle. He's still one of the best looking guys around and extremely funny. Over lunch, he showed me some of the digital pictures from his trip to LA. Some of them are hysterical and I hope he uses some for LJ icon photos. Derek, if you're reading this, you know which one I'm specifically talking about, your majesty!
After lunch I went in search of an external CD-R drive for my brother for Christmas. Derek suggested the Micro Center up in Northern Cincinnati. Found what I wanted, so one present down, only a few dozen more to go. Driving up to the shop, I watched in awe as the odometer on my car rolled to "100,000". With it's dents, dings, age and mileage, I now officially own a jalopy of sorts. The next step will be to put it on blocks in my front yard in true Kentucky fashion. Not really, and don't laugh, because it is indeed paid for and still runs *fingers crossed*.
Bought some CD's and went grocery shopping afterwards. I think I've done enough for one day. And I dread the work thing I do tomorrow.
