Another day in Ware

Okay, I'm an idiot. I actually had an Englishman remind me that yesterday was Labor Day in the States. Explains why no one answered the phone at work. MAJOR DUH! Felt really stupid, but since I wasn't looking forward to three day weekend, it completely skipped my mind.

Dinner was good last night. Had an Indian beer called Cobra, which was okay, and had Chicken Dhansak at the restaurant. Oh, it was good. Very sweet at first and then firey hot. Oh, it made the mouth water. But, as they say, burning going in and burning going out the next morning. Ouch! An uneasy feeling for the next day, let me tell you.

Work went okay today. It's getting repetitive trying to explain to people why using white out in a quality control setting is a bad idea. It obscures data and looks "dodgy" as one person put it (means it look suspicious). The man I'm working with actually went to the guy who had been using it (a nice furry Italian dude) and took it away from him. It was done seriously, but with a bit of a jest involved. I'll reiterate that during the closing meeting where I'm working.

I'm actually working tonight, getting some of the report written and reviewing a few things to cover my bases. All the constant review has me a bit exhausted, so I'm going to try to get this done and maybe turn in early. No more Indian food for a while as I don't think my colon can handle it right now. Oh how I'm missing the cheeseburger right now.
