Two Movie Day -- The Cave and Red Eye

After work today, I decided to hit the movies on the way home. I caught a matinee of The Cave. It was an okay movie, full of action and monsters. It also played on some fears of mine, basically being buried alive and drowning. Some of the camera work was a bit unnerving. The movie also had well-built men in tight scuba gear :)

Afterward, I came home and vegged for a bit. While chatting on 411, nonljeric invited me out to a late movie with him, cincycub and his cute date, Aaron and Sean, and some friends. We caught a late showing of Red Eye. It was a great movie, full of suspense and tension. Cillian Murphy makes a great villian, something about his stark blue eyes is creepy. Rachel McAdams does a wonderful job too, she plays the role where you sympathize with her. One of the surprises in the movie is Suzie Plakson of Star Trek: TNG fame as the senior flight attendant.

Of the two I highly recommend the latter. On the way out we passed by this heavy set girl in a very tight, very short dress, wearing a tiara. You definitely looked at her twice. Some things just invite comment, but I'll be nice for once and keep them off of here.
