Off Day

I'm having an "off-kilter" kind of day. I'm not sure what the issue is. I got dressed at a slower pace this morning, got to work at about the same time, but I've dragged all day. I was in the middle of writing a report and I suddenly realized I had read the same two sentences about five times. I can't seem to concentrate and get anything done, so I burned some comp and left. My very understanding boss said he and a few others were having similar issues. Maybe it's the change in the weather....

I stopped by Cappel's to look for a few things for my Halloween costume for next week. Interesting place... and I know where Shooters is now. I'm being clueless today. I ended up buying a costume for $40, which sort of breaks my streak for making them myself. With the traveling I've done lately, I'm too far behind to start now. I tried it on and it was a perfect fit, so I'll take it as fate that it was meant to be. What am I going as? Nothing controversial, but I'm not ready to reveal it. There's a $25 prize at stake.

Well, I'm still out of sorts. Sounds like nap time to me and see if this fog in my head lifts afterwards.

I know, I know... I have been missing a lot of work lately. At least, in my opinion. I need to buckle down and just weather it out.

It's a work costume contest on Halloween. I won last year and have my winning title to defend. We're strangely competitive at work sometimes. My devil outfit caught a lot of attention last year; it's where this picture came from.
