Weekend Recap

Whew, where did the weekend go? I swear I felt like I left the office just an hour ago. What waits for me today, I have no idea...

Big hugs to scifibear99 for the Wonder Woman action figure he got me from his trip to Metropolis! It showed up on Friday and it's just great. Now I just need to find the right spot to display it :)

Saturday, I drove to Shelbyville, KY, to meet a date and see his incredible house. It's an old farm house that he's renevated from top to bottom -- hard wood floors, large windows, beautiful front porch with two porch swings, etc. I was amazed, it was so nice. My house is so uninteresting compared to his. He's a very handy (and attractive) guy. I marvel at his many talents. A little dinner, some movie watching, some cuddling -- it was a nice evening.

Sunday was laundry and house cleaning. I didn't get very far with either. And is anyone else in the local area having issues with sinuses? Mine are clogged. I don't have typical allergies, so this is somewhat new to me.

You're not alone in wondering where the weekend went. I had that "just left my desk" feeling this morning, and mentioned it to a few colleagues who felt exactly the same. Spooky. Oh, and there was a programme on tv last night about the hauntings at the Tower of London, introduced by a very burly, bearded guard. I smiled and thought of you.

Sorry to hear about the sinus issues, which I can relate to all too well. Here's a very offbeat tip that might help: go get a jar of locally made honey from your nearest market. The pollen agents that're give you issues with your sinus are in the honey and will build up your immunity to it. ;)
