Welcome to Sky High

I met up with a friend at the Levee tonight. After a long week at the office, I was more than ready to spend an evening relaxing and watching a movie. We had dinner at Bar Louie, which was okay. It seems like they've cloned a lot of Abercrombie & Fitch models to wait tables there. Sky High was the movie I was wanting to see. Being the comic book guy that I am and an avid Wonder Woman fan, how could I miss it? It's good to see Lynda Carter again. She's looking very good for her age, still has that figure I recall from years ago. The movie was pretty good, a typical Disney fare, but the teen angst, clique problems, and humor was blended pretty well with good action sequences. The variety of powers the students have was fun, from some pretty weak and useless powers to those requiring some neat special effects.
The main character is the kid who played Jack McFarland's son on Will & Grace and he's getting cuter and cuter. Bruce Campbell who plays Coach Boomer is also a favorite actor of mine.
It was good enough where I think it could turn into a series of sorts, the further adventures of the student body. I guess time will tell.
