One drawback of the overseas traveling is that a lot of good movies get released in the States, but not until much later elsewhere. So, I wanted to hit the movies, being the movie nut I am, today while I was off.

I picked Fantastic Four to see. Overall, I liked the movie. Some good action, the story was a bit altered from the history I know from comic books, but not so much it was unrecognizable. There was also a fair amount of furry chests in the flick, thanks to Michael Chiklis and Chris Evans. The special effects were fairly good, not spectacular, but good. I think a sequel is pretty likely.
Among the ones left on my list to see: Dark Water, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, George Romero's Land of the Dead, and Herbie: Fully Loaded.
