Travel Plans Unchanged

Just a quick note to those who are wondering about my travel plans considering the latest news from downtown London. They are unchanged. I'll be working about 25 miles north of London and taking taxis. I've already contacted work and they gave me the choice of going or coming home, I figured it sounded safe enough.

However, I may not be visiting London proper and I think most of my chat buddies and friends I'm supposed to be meeting are going to avoid it too.

Well, I don't plan on being in the thick of it either, I'm sure there are enough local tourist stuff where I'll be to keep me occupied during the non-work hours. Hugs back :)

Actually I was there for a couple of days two summers ago for work, so I've done the tour before.

The terrorists have made their disruption...I think you are right to go forward with your plans as you are...if not as you originally planned them. As many have said before, we cannot let these acts alter our way of life, then they've won.

Thanks Frank. My feeling is that lightning rarely strikes twice in the same place, so the odds are that the area is perfectly safe now. My guess is that whoever did this is going to strike elsewhere if they do it again.

And I see you like the Landlady too.. :)

Actually, from what I've heard, London recovered pretty quickly, in terms of the transit system. I'm still debating on the trip to London.
