Breakfast at Panera...

Breakfast at Panera is always a good thing. I rarely get to sit and enjoy it, usually grab it to go on the way to work. While chatting online, I was observing any cute guys that were standing in line for a bagel and one cutie caught my eye -- dark hair, beard, young college student type, looking disheveled, like he'd gotten out of bed about 10 minutes ago. Oh, he was cute.

I was chatting with a friend on 411 and telling him how disappointed I was that Paul (as I had named the object of my lust) had left. Our exchange went something (paraphrasing) like this:

411 buddy: Awww... sorry...
Me: My heart will go on...
411 buddy: I'm sure it will, Celine...
Me: Oh, I'd make three of her!
411 buddy: You're much cuter than Celine.
Me: Um.... thanks?
411 buddy: LOL.. I guess that wasn't much of a compliment...

LOL! I told my buddy that I wouldn't say who he was, but the comment made me laugh out loud. I needed that.

I miss Panera. We don't have them out here in San Antonio, but back home I'd go grab an "everything" bagel with some sun-dried tomato cream cheese and be in heaven for 5 minutes.

Oh, I've been a loyal fan of theirs since they were the "St. Louis Bread Company" back when I worked in Kansas City. My favorite is an Asiago Cheese bagel with that tomato cream cheese.. *salivates*

Oh yeah, great stuff! I'm going back to FL next week so I think I'll be heading there for breakfast at least one morning while I'm in town :)
