Setting the Way Back Machine to 1988

I was looking for something in my photo albums and came across this picture of bleuvalentines and me from high school. The year was 1988, she and I were on the high school newspaper and yearbook staff. This pic was taken in our staff room. Camera flashes were common in this room as random photographers ran amok in our school hallways.

Back then I used to comb my hair straight back, creating this Baptist preacher mound of hair. It was the 80's when big hair was the norm. I also wore these horrible glasses that were huge and tinted. Strangely enough, this was the year I jogged every day and was in the best shape of my life likely.

I absolutely hated high school for the most part, but working with Heather in the Journalism class was one of the bright points. I had purpose and responsibility as the newspaper editor.

I decided to post this picture after reading shortstackbear's post about how he used to look so different than the woofy bearish appearance he has today. Therefore, I issue this challenge to any and all friends on my list to post a pic of yourself from "back in the day."

OMG, Mark!!! What a way to scare me first thing in the morning!!! Good grief!!! Ack! *lol* I can't imagine the amount of ozone I killed spraying my hair that day. *rolls eyes*

Hee hee hee! Oh c'mon! My hair was bigger than yours that day, although I do think that our generation was the one to really cause some ozone hole damage. Actually, this was the only pic of me from high school that I could stomach posting.

Think how much wiser we are today... :)

You do realize now that I'm going to have to go through MY old photos and see what I can drag out! ;) However, I do have a a great one of you drawing on the board in 6th period Algebra!

Oh geez, that is one of my worst pictures! It made the yearbook of course. What can I say? My Algebra toons were fabuluous ;)

And yeah, your afternoon blackboard sketches were well looked-forward-to. *smile* You know, I still have the couple of drawings you gave me in my high school scrapbook. I ran across them not long ago! Now THERE'S something I should post! Earlier works of the talented Mark! =)

LOL.. I didn't think I had given you anything of an "adult" nature. In study hall my freshman year, I used to draw some really dirty pictures for Jeanna and Regina. Regina swears that she still has them and is waiting for me to become a famous cartoonist so she can either blackmail me or sell them on eBay.
