I took yesterday pretty easy after the late night I had on Saturday. It was a good time though. While chatting about on 411 yesterday, I did run into [livejournal.com profile] msnmark. I was happy to see him as I had always wondered what happened to him after he deleted his journal. To those who wonder, he's alive and well and just having a busy year.

I chatted with a few other friends on the phone this weekend too. One very handsome teacher guy, very furry and loves to hike, out in California. We've been chatting online for the better part of a year. He's a great guy, very down to earth. Another new buddy lives in Lexington, a science guy like me, who is job hunting and looking to move. I gave him the federal job website. He's qualified for lots of positions on there and the fact he's willing to relocate will guarantee him a job quickly. Uncle Sam likes mobile people.

Well, I'm still without my computer at work, so I have no idea how long I'll have to wait. I do have work to do. If not for the library computer, I'd not be online at all. Oh well... it is Monday... darn it.

Oops.. forgot to mention.. I got approval for the higher-ups for the Ireland trip. I merely await the destinations to be locked down. :)

Three weeks in Ireland. It is official. I am in the wrong profession. Just be sure to take lots of pics.

I hate when the computers go down here at work. The messes up the entire day.

LOL.. if you had told me 10 years ago that I'd be traveling like this now, I'd have thought you were crazy. Lots of pics are a guarantee :D

Woohoo! Ireland neat. Lack of India even neater. *g*

Yeah, lack of India is a definite good thing. They need to market the India trips better. For example, for our three-week inspection trips, one week in India and two in Australia or two in Germany. If they really want them done, they need to give more incentive than the crowded streets, questionable food, and bacterial water of India for the whole trip.

You will love Ireland. It's BEUATIFUL. And the (non-northern) people are so nice.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I love to talk about travel.
