Fridays, Lawn Mowing, Neighbors and New Toons

Thank heavens for Friday. This has been a long week. Next week will be worse. I'll worry about that on Monday. Mom canceled again, she's still not feeling 100%. No problem. She said she may show up next Friday, if she and the stepdad are better.

I mowed my yard for the first time this year. I love the smell of fresh cut grass. My next door neighbor had just finished his and invited me over for a beer. We've never actually spoken, in 2 1/2 years, but he's a nice guy. He's also ruggedly cute and a bit cubbish himself. He told me that he and the missus was planning to move this year. Figures, I just meet the cute guy next door and he's leaving soon.

After several weeks, I finally scanned some drawings and stuff and updated my cartoon page. You can see the updated toons here.

I need to update that one or try another pose to see how it goes. I did the twirl and had the lasso when I was a kid. I often wished Wonder Woman was a guy so I didn't look so silly, but it turns out I was gay, so it didn't matter ;)

I can't believe I am writing this. I loved the show so much when I was a child that my mom made bullet proof bracelets out of the cardboard center of the paper towels. I would spin around, lasso chairs and pretend that I was blocking bullets...sound effects included.

The neighbor is a cute guy and very nice to offer me a beer while I was mowing the yard. I think he's been wanting to meet the neighbors for some time, but I'm not home that much.
