The place I'm inspecting is a bear haven. I've seen four really cute bear types today and will be working with two of them for a few days. Be still my heart!

I went grocery shopping in anticipation of my mom's impending visit tomorrow only to have a message on my machine that she's still not feeling well. I called her back, thinking it would be a quick call as I was trying to put away groceries. Not luck there, she told me she wasn't feeling well and would be in maybe Friday, but then she went into all of the negative news of my hometown. Apparently, one of my cousin's cousins had open heart surgery, died for a moment and went to Heaven. She apparently didn't stay as she's doing well and telling my mom all about it. Oh well...

Lunch was great, a little barbecue place that had some awesome pulled pork. While I was ordering there was a little display of Christian pamplets. One was animated about God not worrying about our appearances. I saw this cartoon panel and thought it was so odd that I had to bring it home. If I look holy enough, do you think I could get a cute bearish priest from the Catholic TV channel to notice me???? :D

The probability is high, my friend, the probability is high.

I really hate to hear that your mom is still sick. I'm sure that the cousin's surgery didn't help make her feel any better.

I'm not sure about the holy part getting you a priest, but the little devil in you will definitely get you me. :)

Well, Mom often gives me the sad news of my hometown, usually before any of the good, so there is nothing unusual there.

A little devil in me, huh? ;)

Did your cousin's cousin see Rick James? Rick James just has to be in Heaven or I aint going...

Rick James? If he's there, none of us have anything to worry about. I dare Saint Peter to ask us any questions with Rick James staring at us through the Heaven's gate bars.

Is that JJ's Barbeque? That place is in my neighborhood, so not far from you. like you said, awesome barbeque, strange religious pamphlets. He has lots about how the dinosaurs were fake, etc. etc. Nice man, though.

I've never eaten at JJ's, but it sounds like I may have to visit. The one I'm talking about is up north near Wilmington, a place called Bougard's, excellent barbecue!

Reading your post about the cute guys you'll be working with reminded me of something I noticed today when I got to the theatre (in Hershey PA) to set up for this evening's show. The stagehands are nearly ALL hunky! I had forgotten how Pennsylvania just churns out German, Polish, and Italian hunks-o-burnin'-sexiness!! One or two of them work up on the fly rail and from where I sit on the band platform I get a GREAT view of them! Slurp!

I'll have to keep a towel handy to catch the drool while I play the shows...!

I think I'll be taking my camera around this week to catch, um, candid backstage photos. :-D

How exactly does one look holy? *laugh*

I don't think you want a priest, Mark ... he might be too kinky for ya'. ;)

That's true. The idea of stealing a man away from God would likely put me in the negative when it's time to meet Saint Peter.
