With my penchant for bizarre and goofy classic horror movies, this dream makes perfect sense. Well, maybe not....

The Alien Sor-cer-ess-ses

I recall this dream being in very crisp black and white. This dream started out in the middle of the story it seemed. A group of men were being forced to fight in gladiator type battles with these four odd women watching the games. All of the guys were these great beefy guys, like you would have seen in old gladiator movies. The big difference was that these guys were furry (can you see my influence here). These men were "Earthlings" who had been taken from their homes by these women.

In the end there were five men left, the others, while not killed, had just vanished with a wave of the women's synchronized swimming-style arm waving, after being defeated. The women told the remaining men that each would be married to one of them. Each woman took their "groom" and the fifth man vanished with the arm-waving.

Suddenly the four women and the four men were in the engine room of a ship. There was a large conveyor belt with a metal contraption, like a large block that raised and lowered like a mouth chewing the belt. The room looked like typical 1950's low-budget technology (think "Plan 9 from Outer Space"). The four women raised their arms again and their clothes changed in bad special effects to flowing robes. One of them told the men they were lucky because the four of them were "Sor-cer-ess-ses," spoken in the worst acting I've ever seen. It's no wonder the poor dear was relegated to acting in dreams conjured by a chicken and broccoli dinner.

The four men just stood there, as the machine started up and coming down the conveyor belt, one-by-one, were the defeated gladiator men, shirtless. The women explained that their ship was powered by chemicals taken from their "teats," and I swear that was the line used. The men had enormous "teats" on the line. The line started moving and each man was moved under the large machine that opened up and swallowed them. The men weren't screaming, but they had this look of horror on their faces as they struggled on the belt, half-naked. There were no mechanical noises either. It was very erotic and disturbing at the same time.

The bad-acting sor-cer-essss turned to the four grooms and told them again how lucky they must think they are being their men, as the fifth man who wasn't selected by the women was carted down the line. How odd was that!?

I guess I tend to remember them in the first couple of minutes after waking up, but they fade so quickly, that I am not sure I would have time to write them down. I should probably try to some time, although I think my dreams tend to be really weird.

You should give writing them down a shot. Every now and then I'll see something or hear something and I'll remember a dream I had from long ago and for some reason just forgot. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's actually a nice fun feeling.

I do remember a few dreams from my childhood, interestingly enough. The earliest is of driving my parents' station wagon. I described it to my mother long ago, and we did have a Buick station wagon when I was very little. A later one has to do with my fear of high bridges. In it, we ended up going into the water off of the Tampa Bay bridge. I wonder if that is the root of my fear. It sure is strange to be able to recall a dream from such a young age better than actual memories.

Well, it sounds like it had a significant impact on you, which I think is normal that you would remember it more vividly.
