Half-day Tuesday

I had a miserable night. If I eat certain foods too late at night, I get horrible heartburn and acid reflux. This is what happened last night. I finally fell asleep around 3 AM only to have the alarm clock go off at 5 AM. I sat in a groggy haze until about 6 AM and finally decided that I can't function on just two hours of fitful sleep, so I called in and said I'd be in later.

After a few hours more sleep, I woke up at 11:30 AM, and made it to work around 1 PM. Not my best day, but I managed to get there in time for a meeting. It was a fairly functional day after that.

Tonight was a new episode of Gilmore Girls. No spoilers for the TiVo crowd or those in foreign lands awaiting new episodes (wink to bleuvalentines). I will say this about tonight's episode, two words.. Naked Kirk. It was the inspiration for this icon. Ewwwww...
