Chatting tonight

While chatting online tonight, I started chatting with my Australian buddy Glenn. Glenn used to live in the States and wanted to hear my accent, so I sent him my number and he called me for 20 minutes or so. His accent was really neat, I'd forgotten how cool an Aussie accent sounds, and he seemed to enjoy mine as well.

For once, I went visible on Yahoo Messenger. I got chatted up by four different guys rather quickly, including bigdave. My buddy Jim in Lexington, whom I hadn't chatted with for a long while, was there too. He and his partner have been together for two years. I'm really happy for him. My other two chat buddies, "Jay" and Dave, are really nice guys in Ohio and Southern Kentucky respectively. Dave is in an area of KY that isn't conducive to gay dating and poor "Jay" is in his mid-30's and still the closet. I don't envy him that.

Still, it was a good night of chatting with nice guys, as opposed to the last chat I had on there. I've seen him logged in, but no repeat of the other night thank goodness.
