There is a joy to noticing a package on your doorstep as you drive up to the house after a long day at work. It's like Christmas, even though you bought the present. I'm shocked and thrilled it showed up today:

Wonder Woman Season 2 DVD

I did a patented end zone victory dance once it was unwrapped. Oh, the childhood memories that this brings. It makes me a happy kid again.

To top it off, Gilmore Girls was especially good tonight. I'm actually in the best mood I've been in for a while. I will sleep well.

I was talking to someone yesteday about that very thing at lunch. How with the release of Wonder Woman, Buck Rogers, and The Greatest American Hero being released on DVD, there has been no word about the Six Million Dollar Man or the Bionic Woman being put on DVD. I would love that, because I can honestly say that I have not seen all of episodes for those shows and would LOVE to.

I have heard that they are going to release The Bionic Woman this year, but that The Six Million Dollar Man can't be released due to some rights issues. Something to do with the movie that is coming out.

Jamie was cool and Lee was hot. I had a bit of a crush on him back in the "Fall Guy" days.

I totally crushed on Lee when I was little, one of my first crushes I remember (I couldn't have been more than 5 or 6). I still remember that for a short while he had a thick stache, and those wide lapeled leisure suits that showed lots of chest hair and basket. Yummers!

Oh yeah, it was nice to see Steve Austin's furriness, but I admit that I enjoyed the Bionic Woman more. There was less eye candy, but I liked her more.

oh yeah, as far as the actual shows go... I only got into Bionic Woman (and yes, I liked Isis better than Shazam too... total homo boy I was). That's why I can still remember the Bionic Woman shows so clearly where the only memories I have of Lee's show is his hotness. LOL... she aged much better than him too. I think the last tv movie or two were hilariously terrible, she still looked relatively young and pretty and agile and he looked terrible. They'd have scenes where he was doing something bionic and he looked so out of shape trying to look like he was running LOL LOL LOL Sigh... but they got married in the end. It was actually a very cool way to end the entire genre (even if the tv movies sucked horribly). I wish they wouldn't do a new movie and just leave it alone.

LOL.. well, they were pretty lame, but I liked "Bionic Showdown" with Sandra Bullock. I wished that had gone to series.

At the end, the movies did get pretty bad, but I do recall that Lindsay did look really good for her age.

heh... I watched them all when they were on the Scifi network a few years ago. They were pretty butchered up tho, would love to see the originals uncut on dvd. I did tape a bunch of the ones that I remembered as my favorites from when I was a kid tho. Oooooooh... Jaime versus the fembots in Vegas... Max the bionic dog... Oh oh oh, my fave... Doomsday is tomorrow with Jaime versus ALEX the supercomputer WOO HOO! Those were the days.

omigawd... did I just *totally* geek out or what?

See I recall the fembots and Max, but not the Alex/supercomputer... see what I've missed out on. :)

ALEX7000 was pretty much a ripoff of HAL from 2001. She had to make her way down several levels of a military facilty and ALEX hit her with everything from oxygen sucking foam to a level with the sounds of fearful rattlesnakes hissing (ah the 70's), but of course Jaime won and saved the world. We love her ;)

Okay, I'll definitely have to buy the DVD when they come out.
