First off, thanks again for the birthday wishes, everybody. It really meant a lot. And I'll forgive those who think my brother is "hawt"! Ewwwww! :D

While looking around on Amazon.com to spend a gift certificate a great handsome friend of mine in Indianapolis sent me, I found many things I'm happy about:

Wonder Woman Season 2 on DVD

Charmed Season 1 on DVD

... about darn time too!

Jem Season 3 on DVD

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century -- Complete Series on DVD

Oh, hairy Gil Gerard made me weak in the knees as a teen. Happy childhood stuff!!! Now if only they'd release "He-Man" and "She-Ra" on DVD. I'm a cartoon freak, I know :D

About Damned time for CHARMED. Now we get to watch Shannon D. pout, glare, squint and keep her arms crossed over her chest. She was the weakest I thought. Much better with Paige....Love the show though. Also loved when they brought Finola Hughes in to be their mom. Anyone remember her from the Generation X movie as Emma Frost?

And WW Season 2?? WOO HOO!!!! Of course I still have to get Season One on DVD. Hubby has been fighting me on it....think I might have to sneak it in.

Okay.....confession time....how many of you folks reading this ever did the Lynda Carter/WW spin wrapped in a blanket/afghan in their family rooms when no one else was around?

I actually liked Shannon on Charmed. Though I really do like Rose McGowan on there too. The one I can do without is Alyssa Milano. Ugh. My preferred outcome of the whole Shannon/Alyssa feud would have been Phoebe dying and being replaced by Paige...

That said, IMO the show's gone seriously downhill...I finally gave up watching when this season started.

My problem with Shannon is that EVERY show she has been on she gets into it with one of her co-stars or starts acting up. I mean one show, fine...it happens...but EVERY show she does? Obviously her and not the other people.

The problem with the whole Alyssa/Shannon thing is that Alyssa has a bigger audience draw than Shannon. I personally think the Phoebe character is terrible and so one dimensional and poorly written. Then again, all Prue did was sulk and walk around with a dark cloud over her head.

I haven't watched it religiously since they moved it to Sunday nights...Sorry, but Simpsons come first for me. What is up with this whole Magic School thing? Can we say "Harry Potter rip-off"? I liked it better when they only encountered the occasional witch.....

I loved Shannon on Charmed as well. She brought a darkness to the show that helped it a little bit. I like Rose McGowan now (although disliked how they handled her telekinetic ability) and am glad she's on the show. I am not as big a fan of Alyssa Milano's character anymore, not because of the actress, but because of what they have done with her character (losing her powers, making her constantly alone, too happy/perky sometimes). Piper/Hollie Marie Combs is my favorite character, especially when she moved from middle sister to oldest sister.

You're not the only one who thinks the show has gone downhill. I will be faithful until the end, but wish the end would come already. The current season is good, but not as good as seasons past. They are running out of ideas and things to play on, yet they have a few things they could run with and haven't. IMO I hope that this is the last season as I fear it won't last another.

LOL.. I'm so glad it's finally coming out. Apparently Shannen was the hold-out and the reason why it took forever for them to be released. Of course, the official story isn't blaming her. I always thought that the show focused too much on her in the beginning, when the other two were far more interesting.

I have the "Generation X" movie on tape, I thought it could have done well as a series.

And I've done my fair share of spinning as a kid, trying to get that starburst affect to work.

OMG! Do you recall the episode where he is captured and auctioned off by a planet of women!?? They tear his shirt of to the waste so the ladies will bid higher! That scene still makes me horny as a teenager!
