Aliens Beware

Yesterday I visited Home Depot, one of the few meccas of manliness I enjoy. I can spend many hours just walking around, drooling over things I want, both human, decorative, and/or mechanical. I have a large tree in my front yard, it was one of the selling points of the house. However, every Autumn I'm stuck raking leaves. While it is good exercise, it's not the most entertaining chore of a home owner. So I spent the remainder of my overtime money to buy a Black & Decker Leaf Hog Blower/Vacuum.

Today, I got up and assembled the thing. It truly does make one feel more powerful.. and the phallic symbolism isn't wasted on me either. I went outside and was amazed how this thing works to pick up leaves. It still seemed to be taking some time, so I switched to the blower function. OMG! Now I know why straight guys get off on anything destructive. This thing can generate hurricane style winds, all under my control. I created tidal waves of leaves, and got the yard in shape in no time. I even blew out the gutters with it. In Tim Allen style, I grunted and growled like a true caveman. I almost hated to get finished.

The yard is done for now. I'm sure I'll be doing it again in a few days as the leaves fall. I took pics because I'm off today and have nothing better to do :).
