we have installed a new toilet at my Mom's apartment a couple of times, and once in our old house. It is *never* as easy as it should be. At this point it's hard for me to even imagine not calling someone to do it, I think it should be a perk of getting older, getting someone to do the crap work (no pun intended) for you LOL
