Final Thoughts on Europe

kybearfuzzWell, it's about 9 AM here, 3 AM American time. The airport here is as trendy as the city itself. All of the shops here are Gucci, etc., with no tourist type shop for tee-shirts, keychains, etc. A little disappointing there. I did find one Milano shirt in the rear of the duty free shop for a coworker who is picking me up from the KY airport.
Overall, I've loved the trip. I'd love to come back to Italy for an actual vacation, one of the small towns on Lake Como I think. Italy is beautiful. The people are passionate, but friendly, the food is outstanding, and the scenery (both wildlife and bearlike) cannot be described.
Well, the flight will board in about 20 minutes and I should be home soon. To the great Hylandr I thank for the journal suggestion. It's been a fantastic tool and all my friends have enjoyed it. Gotta run. Ciao!
