Walking Around Vancouver

kybearfuzzYesterday was fun. I met up with my friend Jamie. He's a cute guy, very burly, beautiful blue eyes, and a very thick goatee. He's very interesting and I like how he holds a conversation. He's got a boyfriend or else more may have happened.
He and I walked all over downtown Vancouver, showing me the beach and English Bay, the gayborhood of Davie Street, and some interesting little tourist spots. He's a great tour guide. I'll be posting pictures when I get home.
Today I got the hotel TV internet turned on. It costs about $12 for 24 hours, which isn't bad, but it's a pain to use. For some reason, LJ will not function on it, so I'm at the internet cafe for this entry. Darn it.
I leave for Rome, Italy tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the city, but not the trip. Thirteen hours of flying total. I'm going to be worn out, but I need to force myself to stay awake on Saturday or else I'll be up all night. I'm planning on sightseeing that day, the weather is supposed to be good.
