Well, more accurately, blame Adobe... The expense of their greed makes it difficult to want to pay them for anything. I wound up pulling all Adobe products off my Macs a couple years (with the exception of Reader for a couple things) and have been by far happier to be rid of them.
That said... they sure made it easy to figure out some graphics work. I've looked at a few alternatives and they all seemed to be rather arcane to use. I just want to use the software, not have to spend hours trying to figure out how to do what I want to do!
