Free from the shackles of braces!

kybearfuzzAfter working half a day at home, I headed to my orthodontist. I love her, she's so funny.. and she sings! She saw my iPod and immediately wanted one. After having her tear my brackets off with pliers (no joke!), she polished my teeth and got me fitted for my clear retainer. You can't even see it when I'm wearing it.
I had this enormous gap between my two front teeth. I've always wanted it gone. As a grown-up, I finally could pay for it myself. After 16 months in braces and hellacious flossing time, they are off and they are straight. The pictures below are my before and after type pics. One with the gap is from two years ago, one of the few that I'm actually smiling in. The other is from today. Did I mention I love my orthodontist???? She's so cool.
