You'll love the iPod. I have the 20GB one also and it rocks. I also ended up buying the Stereo Connection Kit (an extra Dock, Firewire cable, Power Adapter, and RCA plug), and it sounds fabulous coming out of 5.1 Surround Sound speakers!
I also hope you bought a better carrying case, the one that it comes with is really crappy to say the least.
