I swear by Gaviscon. Really, it's a god-send for those times when I'm hit by acid reflux (usually after ingesting something with cinnamon in it). What's more, the tablets help ease the pain of any bile that's made it into the throat. Try it — I'd be surprised if it doesn't help the next time.
