kybearfuzzA good day at work, spoiled only slightly by the Blonde Boss who is doing the opposite of something I recommended on a district policy. She's decided to follow the advice of a person who knows very little about the software I support. At this point, it'll be best to let her crash and burn, I think. Sometimes saying, "I told you so," is so satisfying.
My boss let me borrow his faucet wrenches so I could play plumber. My bathtub faucet was leaking, needing a seat washer replacement. I had never done this before. The hardest part, which surprised me, was getting the blasted knob off the faucet! A brief run to the hardware store for a replacement washer and everything quickly fell into place. Turned back on the water and no leak! I am feeling very macho right now. Just call me Mr. Fixit! **Bends over and shows the plumber butt crack for effect!**
