It seems like I read somewhere that the Girl Scouts had to sell cookies because they were not getting the monetary support that the Boy Scouts had received.
Now that a lot of sponsors have stopped their donations because of the BS stance (read that however you'd like), I guess they're now having to do fundraiser activities too.
I don't usually have a problem saying no to the BS. I've even "bought" a box of cookies from the GS and told them to pick out the kind they like and have them as a snack themselves.
