The weekend flew by. It seems like such a shame that two days can disappear so quickly.

Saturday, I went to see "Snow White and the Huntsman" with some friends. Over the movie was okay. The special effects were impressive, the story was fun, etc., but some of the acting was just... meh. "Piranha 3DD" was out in limited release, but no where near here sadly. It's shlock, I'm sure (it stars David Hasslehoff for heaven's sake), but I bet it would be fun to watch.

Sunday, I drove up north of Cincinnati to go suit shopping. I bought three (buy one get two free sort of thing) -- one charcoal gray, one brown, and one dark olive. I only own one suit, a black one, and my interview for the new position is Wednesday. I thought it might be best if I didn't look like I was heading to a funeral. I paid the extra fee to get the tailoring expedited.

Nothing else to report really. Happy Monday, if that's possible. :)

Yay suits! As someone that just recently purchased some new suits, I can approve of this decision. I bet you look sexy and dapper.

I'll bet you cut quite a dashing figure in a suit.

I love wearing a suit....except when it's hot.

Well, thanks! We'll see how I look when I get them back. Hopefully I'll not lose the pants to these.

They can be really nice, but I'm like you. When it's hot out.. ugh...

I went to K&G on East Kemper in Springdale. They had what I thought was a pretty good selection and a lot of sales.

My body is like a little generator so I sweat a lot. Always a little bit warm to touch. Put multiple layers of cloth on top and start melting. It ain't pretty. LOL

Oh, believe me, I am the same way. I learned to dress in layers at an early age when winter came. It may feel good in the cold air, but by the time I got to school, it became too hot to tolerate. People used to ask me why I wore short sleeves in the winter-time while I was indoors.

I got to see "SW & the Huntsman" this weekend too. Naturally I was impressed with all the effects and the design ... my version of eye candy. Perhaps what's problematic about fairy tales is that they seem so arbitrary, which means some things don't quite make sense. Still, the action was distracting enough to keep me engaged (and how did they make full grown actors appear as dwarfs ?!).

You'll have to model some of the new suits for us - Good Luck with the upcoming interview !!

At first I thought the dwarfs were actually little people, but then I saw Nick Frost and started recognizing some of the others. Ain't CGI wonderful :)

I have the suits, so I might post photos later :)
