Things to See in the Woods

I was chatting with a handsome buddy in Colorado who loves to go hiking. We were discussing some fantasies here and there and I joked about nice it would be to find a friendly Grizzly Adams or lumberjack in the woods. He said he'd enjoy that a lot.
So last night, while watching yet another senseless Netflix horror movie (love those), I drew this for him. I wouldn't mind running into him myself.

I'm back at work, not really 100%, but getting there.

Date: 2012-02-22 05:50 pm (UTC)The dimensions are usually the size of a standard sheet of paper, 8.5" x 11" or less depending on the image and the space around it. I sometimes draw on larger tablets (more the doodle types) that are probably 11" x 24" or so, but my scanner can't handle anything that big. If I scan from those, it's usually trimmed to around the size of a standard paper sheet too.
However, and this is probably way more than you wanted to ever know, I often scan at high resolutions and the end image is sometimes bigger than the original.

Date: 2012-02-22 07:52 pm (UTC)I have a small drawing pad, but I use it more for coloring than actual drawing because it's so tiny. I wouldn't mind a larger one to try it out though :)
I should join the 21st Century.
