Things That Make Me Chuckle

After a long night at the ball field, I am pretty beat today. I didn't even get to play the late game as we had 11 players and I was the designated spare in case one of the other guys had a blow out of the knee, the back or any other physical problem our team seems to have. No blow outs thankfully, and we lost (by one run). It made for a long while for me to stand around.

I came into the office today, tired and in that muddled fog that permits very little focus.

As I'm reading a document, I noticed the following phrase that struck me as funny:

"Note: The contact person at the hospital is Nurse Manager Tammy."

I'm not sure why it makes me smile, but there is something about the mix of the official title and first name only that just seems funny.

Hey, naming a girl Manager Tammy is no stranger than a boy growing up with the name Sergeant Shriver.
