The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

The Good

• Today, I practiced my three presentations for my next computer class in DC in a couple of weeks. My imaginary class loved me and gave me standing ovations. I only had to break out the Death Blaster 3000 for one unruly student. His ashes are scattered to the winds by now.

The Bad

• One guy got mad and walked off the softball team last night in the middle of the game. It cost us an out every time he came up in the rotation. We lost (but not just for that reason).
  
• The new office carpet is making me sneeze.

The Ugly

• Mom is having another "dye-test" scan tomorrow to check on the blockage in her other neck artery. I'm driving down to Lexington to be there with my sister while she has it done. I hope that things aren't as bad as one of the doctors suspects.

Firstly, I hope things go well with your mother.

On the team member who walked off, sounds similar to a couple of incidents I witnessed when square dancing. I can't imagine what horrible crisis would warrant a person's abrupt departure. It's about as discourteous an act as I can imagine. Hopefully the person wasn't a good player!
