Weekend Update (with *some* Tina Fey)

Ugh... Monday mornings suck... Here's the weekend recap...

iPod Shuffle
The Apple Store ordered me a new one at no charge. I only want a red one, which was out of stock. I'll be picking the new one up today I hope.

Friday
A movie and dinner with cubtharsis, where we saw Baby Mama. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are incredible. So uncomfortably funny in spots and a potential DVD buy when released.

Saturday
The Cincinnati Movie Bears monthly movie was Kung Fu Panda, which Jack Black did not ruin! The story was fun, the animation was visually spectacular, and did I mention that Jack Black didn't ruin it. I had low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I'll be buying that one and will be running to see it again soon I think.

After the group had dinner, a few of us went to the bar for a beer or two where I saw Tim the handsome bear bartender who was finishing up his last night before moving to Florida. Sigh... he's dreamy.

Sunday
Laundry, mowing yard, cleaning house, watched Netflix movies, etc.

I was equally surprised/impressed that Jack Black didn't ruin the movie. I wouldn't count on it ever happening again, but I'll take what I can get.

After a grooling day in the sun for both of us, Randy insisted we go see Kung Fu Panda, which had absolutely nothing to do with air conditioning or popcorn...LOL!! It was a decent one!!

I'm not a big Jack Black fan myself (although I did like him in "King Kong") so I'm not too excited about seeing "Panda", but since you liked it (I trust your taste), maybe I'll go see it (at a matinee showing). Did you give Tim your email/phone number to keep in contact?
