Two Hours and Counting...

Sunday Best for a Thursday Interview -- Photo by my camera phone
My interview for a promotion is in two hours. I'm not really nervous so much as I just want it done. The interview in the middle of the day has wrecked everything, so I sit here with very little to do.
The days of people dressing like this in my office to do our work has long fallen to the business casual dress. So when I dress like this people usually ask jokingly, "What do you have an interview or something?"
"Well, yeah..." I responded today.
So far my outfit (sans jacket) has had me labeled palbearer, mortician, and politician. The one moritician outfit comment came from someone in white shirt and blue pants, he looks like he's ready to go out and drive the bus. I can give it as well as I can take it (*waits for snickers and comments from the gutter*).
The good news is that my boss is one of the interviewers, so that is pretty cool. We'll see how it goes. And yeah, that is a Homer Simpson clock on the wall behind me.
